Open Cold Game Working Test win for Cai (On His Birthday).

I decided to give Cai a run out in the Coventry open cold game test, the venue was Shafts Wood Meriden which has a bracken bottom with a bit of bramble patches. Judges were Neale Satchwell and Natalie Cannon and the event had been well supported with 18 Open dogs running. The format set up by the judges was straight forward but challenging enough to help the judges sort the dogs out with a bird thrown forward as a distraction and the dog then being sent from where it had stopped to a blind bird behind. The ground suited Cai and with 2 straight forward runs he took 1st place and best hunting dog.I also ran Dex in the Open, he went well enough but was down a gear or two in his hunting but he still managed a 4th place....all in all a good day for Tufftyke Gundogs.
