On the 21st of November Rubz ran in an Open stake with the Dukeries at Stubbton
the ground was a mixture of heavy woodland and ditches and dykes.
We put 2 nice runs together which included a blind retrieve straight of the lead on our first run and a decent eye wipe on our second run along with a nice retrieve in bramble. The 2 runs were enough for us to win on ice which resulted in Rubz qualifying for this years Championships and achieving goal when i started out trialling 6 years ago.
3 days later Rubz was out again with the Welsh KC at Newtown, we had 2 nice runs again with an eye wipe thrown in and the runs were good enough to put us in a run off for first place, unfortunately our luck didnt hold out and we lost the run off which would have made Rubz a Champion...hopefully shell get another chance
